SUPPORT THE CHILDREN

Mission India FHL

Mission India FHL was founded by Grant and Ruby Murray in Geelong, Australia. The mission operates in the northeast of India. We are a registered charity trust in India under the name of Mission Village Haven Society. Our charity operates on beautiful, rich farmland that provides the opportunity for the mission to become self-sufficient. Our vision is to provide the opportunity of a better life for destitute Indians, orphans and widows. Orphaned children are cared for by a number of adults and a caretaker living on the property and are provided an education within the local school system. The children now have a hope, love and a future. Further information on how you can partner with us is included on this website.

How you can help

Donations

Mission India FHL operates on the generous donations of our supporters. You can help by filling a tin (for Geelong donors) with loose change,  by making a donation through this website or via our postal address.

Education Sponsorship

Mission India FHL assists poor children from the local community through funding their annual school fees. Through sponsorship these children are able to gain an education despite impoverished circumstances.

Short-term Missions
We are always looking for volunteers who are keen to get involved through teaching short courses and being involved in project work in India. Short-term mission trips is one way that people can see the work of Mission India FHL first hand.

Short Courses

You may have skills that can be used to provide training to those living at the village by assisting with short courses in trade skills, typing, sewing or more formal training in English. At the end of the course, the person receives a certificate of completion that can be the 'point of difference' when they seek employment in their chosen occupation.

Latest project

The growth of the mission has required the Australian Committee to consider planning and investment into a new building that will provide much needed accommodation for residents and staff. The new building will free up space in an existing building which, in turn, will provide more space for our medical service to the local community. We are hoping to construct a further 8 to 12 rooms with en'suites.
